Prior to her specialization in digital marketing, Karen worked at major advertising agencies around the world covering four countries, 14 categories and 60 brands.

Karen’s ad agency background had the perfect grounding in a B.S. in Semiotic theory from Brown University. She studied the Theory of Signs and Communication and their application in English and French.
Karen has more than twenty years of experience in major advertising agencies as an Account Director setting strategy and leading teams in the creation of offline and digital marketing. She has worked with large and small clients in several countries, most notably Microsoft, Williams-Sonoma, Progressive Auto Insurance, the Australian Tourist Commission. In the Bay area she worked for two of first digital agencies to achieve prominence nationally — AKQA and Eleven. She also ran her own ad agency marketing plastic surgery in 50 markets in the U.S. for small surgical practices.
Karen brings all of her diverse marketing background to bear on marketing small businesses using digital marketing to generate leads and the marketing automation of Infusionsoft to nurture and convert those leads.
